"Who was that madre?" the hijo asked.

"I don't know hijo" the madre replied.

"Will they sneak in our casa through our ventana?" 

"No hijo,  our el perro will protect us."

"OK, madre" the hijo said.

That night the hijo heard a screeching noise, and felt a flaco hand covering his mouth.
